We are looking for an accounting interns for A&A Accounting to help with the daily accounting operations and growth of the business. This would be a good opportunity for you to learn accounting in the real world and get real work experience on your CV. 

This is a busy and exciting role in which you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for A&A Accounting's accounting work. Some general areas of work you will be involved in are: 

- Preparation of a wide range of financial statements of varying complexity and industries
- Independent analysis and contribution to the resolution of complex accounting issues that result in client satisfaction
- Preparation of GST returns, annual returns, payroll etc.
- Engage in in-depth accounting and legal research/documentation

As we are a start up accounting firm we offer a lot of flexibility. This means hours-wise we are looking around 10-15 hours a week, however some weeks may be more busy and vice versa. We will not put too much pressure on you, but as expected there will be deadlines. Everything can be done with your laptop remotely but we will occasionally have team catch ups in-person.
